Autumn days minced meat *

A long list of ingredients but they are mostly spices. This recipe doesn't take that much time to prepare.
The "autumnish" ingredient is the sweet potato, which can be replaced by tofu for a different dish.

For 2 persons

- 300gr minced beef (pork is fine too)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- olive oil, salt, pepper
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste, or grated fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon turmeric or curcuma
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- about 3 tablespoons white wine
- about 4 tablespoons Marsala wine (or sherry)
- 1 chilly pepper, seeded and chopped, or 1/2 teaspoon "hot paste"
- a pinch of sugar
- a pinch of garam masala (optional)
- 3 medium sized tomatoes, peeled (if you are patient enough. I am not) and chopped
- 1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped into about 1cm bits

Boil the chopped sweet potato in salted water for about 10 minutes.

Thoroughly heat up your wok pan and olive oil. Turn down the heat and add the onion and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, add turmeric and cumin powder, soy sauce, white wine, Marsala, chilly pepper or paste, pinch of salt, pinch of pepper, ginger, and cook a bit more.
Add the chopped tomatoes and pinch of sugar, and let it sizzle for 10 minutes.
Mix in the minced meat and boiled sweet potatoes, a pinch of garam masala, and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Serve on rice.
